Flow Yoga is about linking the breath with the pose. One moves from pose to pose in a smooth, easy manner, like Meditation in Motion and on a deeper level, as resistance is released and tension is shed, you flow with the present moment.
Slow flow yoga: a gentle and nurturing yoga practice catered to yogis newer to yoga or in need of a slower and deeper flow.
Viniyoga. A gentle form of flow yoga in which poses and flows are chosen to suit the student's abilities.
Vinyasa. Steady flow of connected yoga postures linked with breath work in a continuous movement.
Breathing is divided into Four Stages:
- Inhalation or Puraka
- Full Pause or Abhyantara Kumbhaka (Pause After Inhaling) Full Pause
- Exhalation or Rechaka
- Empty Pause or Bahya Kumbhaka (Pause After Exhaling)
